I’ve seen several ads from companies that promote small business loans. Most seem to target businesses who can’t or who don’t believe that can get bank financing. Lets be clear, banks are conservative and there are many, deserving entrepreneurs who are in the market for financing but, aren’t deemed “bank credit worthy”therefore, other lenders, some of which are unscrupulous are out there, lurking, making promises like, no personal credit needed, quick approval, streamlined paperwork, trying to attract these busy, hardworking, perhaps struggling business owners to their webs. Beware… the fees and interest rates many of these predators are usurious. These lenders and their agents prey on needy, sometimes desperate businesses. If there’s an application fee, upfront commitment fees, and if the rates and terms seen unfair, they likely are. That’s where the BBRC comes in.
