CitySource Opportunities Forum

Date

May 26 2022

Time

11:30 am - 12:30 pm

On Thursday, May 26, 2022, we want to connect you directly to the source of contract opportunities at the Birmingham Shuttlesworth Airport and more, at CitySource.

On Thursday, May 26, meet the chief executive officer of the Birmingham Airport Authority, Ronald F. Mathieu. Also, meet the president of Smart Growth Management, and learn how he got an opportunity to do business with the airport.

The Birmingham Airport Authority understands the importance of economic inclusion and access to opportunities for Diverse Business Enterprises (DBEs). The airport’s DBE Programs seek to ensure disadvantaged businesses have an equal opportunity to receive and participate in DOT-assisted contracts by removing barriers to the participation of DBEs and strive to assist the development of firms that can compete successfully in the marketplace outside of the DBE Program.

The Birmingham Airport Authority is actively seeking to provide contracting opportunities covering a broad range of products and services to diverse suppliers in the following business enterprises:
• Minority-owned
• Woman-owned
• Historically Underutilized Business Zone
• Veteran-owned
• Service-disabled veteran-owned
• Small business
• Small disadvantaged
